UPDATED March 12th: my niece, Amanda, is still alive and battling stage IV metastatic cancer. I’ll be taking this post off of the top position in the blog, as I think everyone has had a chance to read it.
UPDATED January 26, 2022 —
My twenty year old niece, Amanda, has stage IV metastatic cancer. Please pray for her and remember her at holy Mass.
She was diagnosed last year in October. By then, the cancer had already spread to multiple locations and major organs. She has received chemotherapy, off and on, for a while now. She is living at home, able to walk around and do daily activities, and is in relatively good spirits.
Please pray for her. I would like people to pray for the intention that God might heal her, but also and most especially please pray for her soul. The soul is more important than the body. Please remember her at any Mass you attend.

Including Amanda in my daily prayer intentions and during Mass at the consecration. I lost my sister to breast cancer when she was in her 30s, so this resonates close to home. God bless your family.
Sorry for your loss. Thanks so much for your concern and prayers.
Will go to mass tomorrow and offer it for Amanda.
Thanks very much. Please add my special intention regarding her.
