Books to Prepare for Catholic Marriage

Books I’ve written, which would be excellent for Catholic couples preparing to marry.

1. Roman Catholic Marital Sexual Ethics
The first three chapters cover the basics of Catholic moral teaching. Then the book delves into abortion, contraception, artificial procreation (IVF etc), and various sexual sins in marriage. There is also a section on the “marriage debt” (the moral obligation to have sex with your spouse).

2. The Catholic Marriage Bed: A book of Roman Catholic moral theology
This book addresses a single question in ethics: Which sexual acts are moral between a husband and wife? The question is answered by a prayerful and humble understanding of Sacred Scripture, the writings of Saints and Doctors of the Church, and the teachings of the Magisterium.

3. Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, and Limbo
A booklet on salvation. It’s big brother is the book Forgiveness and Salvation for Everyone.

4. Healthy Eating versus Mortality
A detailed explanation of which foods and which nutritional components reduce risk of disease and death, and, in case your marriage is not going well, which foods increase risk of an early death.

Although I read these books after I got married, I wish I would have read them sooner! Thanks Ron!
