New Articles at Hunger Math

Take a look at the latest articles at Hunger Math blog. A food crisis is drawing very near, before the end of this year, perhaps by summer.

Reminder: a severe food crisis is approaching. One of the main foods that will be lacking is vegetable oil. Store at least 6 months’ worth of vegetable oil, such as canola oil or soybean oil.

Thank you for your advice. Why those two particular oils (canola or soybean)? Is there an advantage to storing those over, say, olive oil?

    • Ron Conte says:

Canola and soybean oils each contain the two essential fats: omega-3 and omega-6, that you absolutely need in your diet. You can also store olive oil.

Quick question, is it at least a venial sin to get a tattoo? I do not want one, but someone I know got two and sent me pictures and I want to know how to respond?

    • Ron Conte says:

It is not a sin to get a tattoo. No, it is not “at least a venial sin”. Tattoos were forbidden in the Old Testament because they were used to tattoo the names of pagan gods, whom the person with the tattoo worshipped. Christians are not forbidden from getting tattoos.
