First point is that the Antichrist is not in the world today. There are many events predicted in Sacred Scripture that must occur first, and this will take several generations, or about 400 years. So the claims that the papal accusers make that Pope Francis is associated with the Antichrist or the false prophet, according to various vague and malicious accusations, is certainly false. Like Honorius, Liberius, Marcellinus, and John XXII, Pope Francis is falsely accused of grave failures in faith, contrary to the promise, prayer, and teachings of Jesus himself (Mt 16:18; Lk 22:32). And using bad Catholic eschatology to support false and heretical accusations against the Roman Pontiff is gravely harmful to the faithful.

Now while eschatology is generally a highly speculative field of theology, some points are not at all speculative: that everything predicted in Scripture about the future will occur; that the Church will remain indefectible, even during the time of the Antichrist; that Christ will return after the Antichrist’s reign. These things are certain, and not speculative. The dates for the Antichrist’s reign are speculative, and in this post, I will expand upon my previous predictions for the Antichrist’s dates with dates for the month and day. But the speculative nature of these details does not change the clear teaching of Scripture that many events must occur first. Then the predictions given by the Blessed Virgin Mary in the secrets of La Salette also clearly explain that the Antichrist is in the distant future.

The Reign of the Antichrist

After many years of study and several books of eschatology, I have a proposed set of dates for events in the reign of the Antichrist. This occurs in the 25th century, A.D. He rises to world power from 2430 to 2431 A.D. The calendar system used in secular society in that time will be a calendar with 30 days in every month, and 12 months per year (Rev 11:2-3). In the years prior to the Antichrist’s rise to power, people will not celebrate Christmas or Easter or any religious holidays at all, as true religion will be hated and the world will be highly secularized. That is why the world changes to a secular calendar, with 30 days in every month and 360 days per year.

“A man with good appearance, this is the antichrist, will gain great satanic power. This evil event will happen on the feast of a great saint, he who when called by God fell from his horse and had his life transformed…..”

The great Saint is Paul.

{9:1} Now Saul, still breathing threats and beatings against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest,
{9:2} and he petitioned him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that, if he found any men or women belonging to this Way, he could lead them as prisoners to Jerusalem.
{9:3} And as he made the journey, it happened that he was approaching Damascus. And suddenly, a light from heaven shone around him.
{9:4} And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”
{9:5} And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he: “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goad.”
{9:6} And he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do you want me to do?”
{9:7} And the Lord said to him, “Rise up and go into the city, and there you will be told what you ought to do.” Now the men who were accompanying him were standing stupefied, hearing indeed a voice, but seeing no one.
{9:8} Then Saul rose up from the ground. And upon opening his eyes, he saw nothing. So leading him by the hand, they brought him into Damascus.
{9:9} And in that place, he was without sight for three days, and he neither ate nor drank.

This indicates that the date is that particular Feast of St. Paul which commemorates his conversion, when Saul fell from his horse, began his conversion, later being called Paul. He was blind for three days, and then he was healed by a Christian.

This feast of the conversion of Saint Paul is held on January 25th each year. So this indicates that the Antichrist “will gain great Satanic power” on that day of that month. He will then begin breathing threats against the Church. My interpretation is that this is the start of the half a week of years (Dan 9:26-27), when the Antichrist and false prophetess attempt to destroy the Church, by setting up a competing false Church.

Now this date is not, as one might think at first, the date for the start of the reign of the Antichrist over the whole world. Instead, I believe it is the date for the start of the formal religion of the Antichrist, which occurs about 1010 days after the start of his reign.

{11:3} And I will present my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy for one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

{8:14} And he said to him, “From evening until morning, two thousand three hundred days, and so the sanctuary will be cleansed.”

{12:11} And from the time when the continual sacrifice will be taken away and the abomination of desolation will be set up, there will be one thousand two hundred ninety days.
{12:12} Blessed is he who waits and reaches until one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.

So the entire reign of the Antichrist is 2300 days, which is 6 years, 4 months, 20 days — given a calendar system in the future of 30 days in every month and 12 months in each year, for 360 days per year (instead of our 365 or 366 day year). Then the time when the two prophets (Enoch, Elijah) preach is 1260 days; then the time when the Antichrist uses his false Church to destroy the true Church, is 1290 days. So that means Enoch and Elijah are put to death after 1260 days, but it takes some time after that, about 30 more days, for the Antichrist to fall from power (and literally fall during his false ascension).

Now when you subtract 1290 days from 2300 days, there are 1010 days left. So the Antichrist’s reign of 2300 days is divided into two parts: first part, 1010 days; second part, 1290 days (including the 1260 days of the two prophet’s preaching).

[Revelation]
{2:10} You should fear nothing amid those things which you will suffer. Behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison, so that you may be tested. And you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful even unto death, and I will give to you the crown of life.

Verse 2:10 (or “two tens”) warns of tribulation for ten days. And we know that 1010 days is the first part of the Antichrist’s reign. The book of Daniel calls his reign a week of years, which is the last of Daniel’s 70 weeks of years (Dan 9:26-27). However, it is not a whole seven years, but just over 6 years. In ancient Jewish numerology, 7 symbolizes perfection and holiness, while 6 symbolizes evil. So the number 666, referring to the Antichrist, means that he is evil in soul, spirit, and body.

The Antichrist’s reign is divided into two parts. The first part is 1010 days long; during that time, the Antichrist rules the ten kingdoms of the world. He claims to be god, but he has no formal religion. After losing a battle, he takes counsel, and the false prophetess (an apostate Catholic; the Jezebel and Harlot of Revelation) suggests to him that he force the world to worship himself through a formal structure to his religion, in perverse imitation of Catholicism. Then all the houses of worship in the world, which had been closed at the start of his reign, are reopened and converted to his false religion. And when this begins, Enoch and Elijah appear and begin to preach against him and his false religion; so begins the last 1290 days of the Antichrist’s reign (the second part).

After Elijah and Enoch are put to death, at the end of their 1260 days of preaching, the whole world watches their dead bodies.

{11:7} And when they will have finished their testimony, the beast that ascended from the abyss will make war against them, and will overcome them, and will kill them.
{11:8} And their bodies shall lie in the streets of the Great City, which is figuratively called ‘Sodom’ and ‘Egypt,’ the place where their Lord also was crucified.
{11:9} And those from the tribes and peoples and languages and nations shall be watching their bodies for three and one half days. And they shall not permit their bodies to be placed in tombs.
{11:10} And the inhabitants of the earth will rejoice over them, and they will celebrate, and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tortured those who were living upon the earth.
{11:11} And after three and one half days, the spirit of life from God entered into them. And they stood upright on their feet. And a great fear fell over those who saw them.
{11:12} And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying to them, “Ascend to here!” And they ascended into heaven on a cloud. And their enemies saw them.
{11:13} And at that hour, a great earthquake occurred. And one tenth part of the City fell. And the names of the men slain in the earthquake were seven thousand. And the remainder were thrown into fear, and they gave glory to the God of heaven.

Then the Antichrist’s kingdom falls into chaos. The two enemies of the Antichrist, the two prophets who preached against him for 1260 days without any harm coming to them, have now been raised from the dead and assumed into heaven. This proves that their preaching about Jesus the true Christ is true, and that the Antichrist is a false god. So what can the Antichrist do to retain control of his kingdom? For it was foolishly built as a cult of worship of one human person. Loss of belief in the Antichrist causes the whole system to fail. So he and the false prophetess devise a trick whereby he will pretend to ascend to heaven, saying that he is pursuing the two prophets.

At La Salette, Mary said:

33. ‘Behold the time; the abyss opens. Behold the king of kings of darkness. Behold the beast with his subjects, calling himself the savior of the world. He will raise himself up with pride into the air in order to go even up to heaven; he will be smothered by the breath of the holy Archangel Michael. He will fall, and the earth which for three days will be in continual evolutions, will open its bosom full of fire; he will be plunged for ever with all his own into the eternal chasms of hell. Then water and fire will purify the earth and will consume all the works of the pride of men, and all will be renewed: God will be served and glorified.’

So the Antichrist “will raise himself up with pride into the air in order to go even up to heaven….” But really this ascension is accomplished by technology (as this is hundreds of years in the future) and by the help of devils. Then the holy Archangel Michael removes whatever means is used for the Antichrist to be able to breathe at that height, and interferes with the means used for his fake ascension, and the Antichrist plummets to earth in view of the whole world. He lies broken, still alive, on the ground. His claim to be a god is now utterly broken.

Later the Antichrist is thrown into Hell, alive, with the false prophetess.

{19:20} And the beast was apprehended, and with him the false prophetess, who in his presence caused the signs, by which she seduced those who accepted the character of the beast and who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the pool of fire burning with sulphur.

Dates of Events

As I have written many years ago, and have continued to write since then, the Antichrist’s rise to power is in 2430 to 2431. Then his 6-plus year reign is from 2431 to 2437. And Christ returns in 2437, after the fall of the Antichrist. For the Antichrist, as powerful as he might seem to the world, is not so powerful that Jesus needs to be the one to confront him. All it takes is a lowly Archangel (second lowest choir) to briefly interfere with his plans, to cause the Antichrist to completely lose all his worldly power and cause his kingdom to fall apart.

Now, let’s see if I can figure out the dates of these events.

* 1010 days of the Antichrist’s reign before the false prophetess
* 1260 days of the Antichrist’s false Church led by her, which is when the Eucharist is banned, and replaced with the fake Eucharist of the Antichrist’s false religion, the abomination of desolation.
* 30 days between the death of Enoch and Elijah, and the end of the Antichrist’s kingdom, which occurs perhaps some number of days after the fake and failed Ascension of the Antichrist.

The two prophets are allowed to be put to death, then the whole world refuses to let them be buried, and they refuse to work. Everyone watches these two dead bodies lay in the streets of Jerusalem. For the prophets had repeatedly struck the world with one affliction after another, for their refusal to repent. So the world rejoices, declares a spontaneous holiday, and people exchange gifts.

{11:11} And after three and one half days, the spirit of life from God entered into them. And they stood upright on their feet. And a great fear fell over those who saw them.

So on the 4th day, after the end of the 1260 days, that is, 3.5 days into the last 30 days of the Antichrist’s reign, the Antichrist is discredited, as the whole world sees his opponents be raised from the dead and be assumed into heaven. And they both preached Jesus the true Christ. The world falls into chaos. The only ones who worship the Antichrist now are those who merely pretend because they wish to hold on to power. (Probably, all along, most were pretending to worship him.)

When does the Antichrist attempt his false ascension? Maybe on August 15th, the date of Mary’s Assumption. For the Antichrist perversely imitates the Catholic Christian faith.

Now recall the prediction of an event on the feast of the conversion of Saint Paul, January 25th. If Jan. 25th, at “midday” i.e. noon, is the start of the 1290 days of the abomination of desolation, i.e. the start of the Antichrist’s false Church — which is how he will gain great satanic power, by an evil event which is the establishment of that false Church. He then asks the world to convert to his religion, as Saul converted to Christianity. The Antichrist is always perversely imitating Catholicism. These 1290 days end in 2437 A.D.

So that puts January 25th in 2434 A.D. But this calendar will have 30 days in every month, and 360 days per year.

First partial year is 360 days minus the first 24 and 1/2 days of January.
So that is 335.5 days in 2434 A.D.
plus 360 days as the whole of 2435 A.D.
plus 360 days as the whole of 2436 A.D.
plus 204.5 days in 2437 A.D. to reach the end of 1260 days, the end of Enoch and Elijah’s prophesying.
And that would be about midday on July 25th (24.5 days into July).
So Enoch and Elijah are put to death about midday on July 25th of 2437 A.D.
They are raised after 3.5 days, which is midnight between July 28th and 29th.

Now there are 30 days from midday July 25th, the end of their prophesying, to when the abomination and the religion of the Antichrist ends, which would be midday of August 25th. I don’t think the Antichrist waits almost a month for his fake Ascension (July 29 to August 25th). I think he attempts his false ascension on August 15th. His main goal is to re-establish his claim to be a god. But August 15th is a way to continue his attempts to supersede the Catholic religion. For as we know, August 15th is the day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Then the Antichrist falls to the earth and is broken. I don’t think that the three days (that Mary spoke of at La Salette) from his fall to being thrown into Hell is literal, although it might be. I think it means a short time. In any case, by August 25th, it is clear that the Antichrist is broken, that his mortal wound will not be healed this time, and that, instead of rising on the third day or the umpteenth day, he is irreparably broken. In any case, the 1290 days of the end of his kingdom occurs 30 days after the death of the two prophets. So August 25th is the end of the 1290 days, and therefore the end of the abomination and the false religion. That it would take 10 days for the world to be convinced that the Antichrist is not going to be healed or rise to power again is reasonable. It takes time for those who bought into his claim to be god to be convinced. And at that point, about August 25th, the kingdom of the Antichrist ends.

However, some wicked persons, knowing that Antichrist is not a god, nevertheless try to rebuild the power of the kingdom of the ten kings. Ten new wicked kings attempt to rise to power, one for each kingdom.

{17:11} And the beast who was, and is not, the same is also the eighth, and he is of the seven, and he goes forth unto destruction.
{17:12} And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings; these have not yet received a kingdom, but they shall receive authority, as if they were kings, for one hour, after the beast.
{17:13} These hold to one plan, and they shall hand over their power and authority to the beast.
{17:14} These shall fight against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall conquer them. For he is the Lord of lords and the King of kings. And those who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”

When the Antichrist goes forth unto destruction, ten new kings attempt to rebuild the kingdom of the ten kings. They hold to one plan, which is to turn the kingdom from the worship of the Antichrist, to the worship of devils, especially of Satan. That is how they “hand over their power and authority to the beast”, which in this case is Satan (the beast), rather than the Antichrist. They have very limited power for a short time, only days. After the end of the Antichrist’s kingdom, there are 45 days until Christ returns. And as the faithful are boldly preaching the Gospel, unimpeded, these wicked kings attempt to rise to power.

Then the kings gather all the wicked of the world, who realize that the Antichrist is a fraud and that Jesus is the Son of God — but they reject Him despite knowing the truth. And they attempt to make war against the Church and the faithful. Christ returns, and the seven bowls of God’s wrath are poured out upon the wicked. And when the wicked nevertheless refuse to repent, they gather around Jerusalem. They think to make war against Christ himself, who has returned. For He is the One “who was sitting upon the horse”.

{19:19} And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, having been gathered together to do battle against him who was sitting upon the horse, and against his army.
{19:20} And the beast was apprehended, and with him the false prophetess, who in his presence caused the signs, by which she seduced those who accepted the character of the beast and who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the pool of fire burning with sulphur.
{19:21} And the others were slain by the sword that proceeds from the mouth of him who was sitting upon the horse. And all the birds were sated with their flesh.

But there is no war. The unrepentant are slain by a word from the mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Antichrist and the false prophetess are thrown into Hell alive, and the rest of the wicked are slain and then sent to Hell. So the ten wicked kings never succeed in their plan to reestablish the kingdom of the ten kings.

Now the time from the end of the kingdom of the Antichrist to the Return of Christ seems to be about 45 days:

{12:11} And from the time when the continual sacrifice will be taken away and the abomination of desolation will be set up, there will be one thousand two hundred ninety days.
{12:12} Blessed is he who waits and reaches until one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.

Then there are another 45 days (1290 + 45 = 1335) probably until Christ Returns (“Blessed is he…”). During that time, the false religion of the Antichrist has ended, and the faithful still on earth preach the true Gospel and win vast numbers of conversions. So it seems that Christ returns in late 2437, perhaps 45 days after late August, which is early October. But I cannot be sure of the day, given the highly speculative nature of this type of calculation. I would say that Christ returns in the year 2437, possibly in the latter part of the year, perhaps in October. There’s no way to be sure of the day, except if you live during that time and you survive to find out. Grace and peace to those who do. He might not return at the very end of the 45 days. He might return after 40 days, with 5 days more before the beginning of the Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath.

Now, recall that all this is predicated on Jan. 25th being the date for the start of the Antichrist’s false religion. And there are 1010 days prior to that date, for the first part of his reign.

So, counting back 1010 days gives us the start of the Antichrist’s reign. January 25th midday begins his false Church. So 24.5 days at the start of 2434, plus 360 days for the whole of 2433, plus 360 days for the whole of 2432, plus 265.5 days at the end of 2431, is 1010 days. This leaves 94.5 days at the start of the year 2431 A.D. which is prior to the Antichrist’s reign. With 30 day months, that is 90 days for Jan., Feb., and March and 4.5 days into April, which is the 5th.

So the Antichrist’s reign is from midday April 5th, 2431 to his fall from a false ascension on August 15th, to the end of his kingdom itself sometime on August 25th. This set of dates is highly speculative. However, I hope it may be of some use for Christian in that future time.

The Antichrist rises to power by defeating three kings, from 2430 to early 2431 A.D. He then reigns for 2300 days. After that, the faithful preach the Gospel freely, and then Christ returns.
