[Genesis]
{9:11} I will establish my covenant with you, and no longer will all that is flesh be put to death by the waters of a great flood, and, henceforth, there will not be a great flood to utterly destroy the earth.”
{9:12} And God said: “This is the sign of the pact that I grant between me and you, and to every living soul that is with you, for perpetual generations.
{9:13} I will place my arc in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the pact between myself and the earth.

So it would seem that a great flood cannot occur again. However, it is possible that if humanity breaks the covenant that prevents a second flood, one might occur. The other interpretation that might allow another flood is that the subsequent “flood” would not be of the same type, but would be a different great cataclysmic event.
During the first part of the tribulation, there will be a broken comet that strikes the earth (Comet Tempel 1). This will cause a similar event to the great flood of Noah which was caused by a comet strike in the deep ocean.
{8:7} And the first Angel sounded the trumpet. And there came hail and fire, mixed with blood; and it was cast down upon the earth. And a third part of the earth was burned, and a third part of the trees was entirely burned up, and all the green plants were burned.
{8:8} And the second Angel sounded the trumpet. And something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast down into the sea. And a third part of the sea became like blood.
{8:9} And a third part of the creatures that were living in the sea died. And a third part of the ships were destroyed.
Then during the second part of the Antichrist’s reign, just before he takes power, there will be an event that causes the earth to shift on its axis, causing the oceans to shift suddenly and swallow whole nations, particularly Ireland (per a prophesy of St. Patrick).

Ron, maybe you could clarify? Do you mean the events leading up to The Warning or the events from The Warning and onward?
I mean the events of the first part of the tribulation, from the four horsemen of the apocalypse to the three days of darkness.
I’m interested in explanations of the events you mention. As for use of the term flood, it could be a metaphorical play on words. A present day example of that would be to describe certain social media platforms as responsible for a flood of disinformation.
Well about a flood, I think it will be another one but not as big as the one of Noah, but still very important, since the last book I read about sister Lucia´s life (Fatima) talks about water that will take a large number of lifes, also the book Catholic Prophecy (Yves Dupont) cuotes St Hildegard, she talks about a comet and a tidal wave. And I just finished a book named IO-Eros (Luis Eduardo Lopez Padilla) which states that a prophecy is about to ocurr, The “Io” moon from Jupiter and “Eros” asteroid will impact and create a blue light that will form a cross (Garabanadal warning sign),and then, a piece of this moon along with the asteroid will direct towards earth, some pieces willi mpact the planet and repercutions will be terrible. The prophecies of the book named IO-Eros are false. There is no impact from a moon, nor from the asteroid Eros. That is false. Otherwise, what you said is correct. There will be a comet impact, but it will be a broken comet, with one large piece and many smaller pieces, which fits what Revelation says.

YES!
Flood of fire. Our Lady said in Akita:
“Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. “
That refers to the broken comet falling from the sky. And one large piece falls into the ocean, causing massing destruction in the oceans and along the coastlines.
re: Our Lady of Akita, in the sentence immediately preceding the one Alex quoted, Mary specifically references the deluge: “As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before.”

Live this time of grace and be witnesses of hope, because I repeat to you, little children, that with prayer and fasting also wars can be suppressed. Little children, believe and live this time of grace in faith and with faith; and my Immaculate Heart does not leave any of you in peacelessness if you have recourse to me. I intercede for you before the Most High and I pray for peace in your hearts and for hope for the future. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
It is hard to believe that events will begin to unfold on Good Friday this year. In this message, the Blessed Virgin Mary reminds us twice that we live in a time of grace.
Whenever and whatever it is, my observations and talks with fellow Catholics show they are Not Ready. Neither physically not psychologically. They bet all on the preparedness for the three days of darkness with specvial kinds of candles etc. You can often hear them warning of “Fema camps”?!? See what happened in Texas just a simple snow storm that Chicago area has every winter. Their out of touch with reality is appalling. Those people and their families will simply die off, taking with them all traditionalism they count so much on.
Nobody knows how exactly it will happen. If the pope speaks of a flood then maybe he knows something more about or is giving us a hint without the necessity of a literal understanding even less a prophecy made by himself.
No special kinds of candles are needed. And the Three Days of Darkness occurs in 2040 AD, so it is not any time soon. Many of the things said about the End Times are just wrong. People are just taking bits of information from various places on the internet without regard for its reliability or lack thereof.
