New Study: NSAIDs linked to adverse outcomes for Covid-19 patients
A Study warns against using NSAIDs with Covid-19. —
NSAIDs include: aspirin (Bayer, Excedrin), naproxen (Aleve), ibuprofen (Advil), and certain prescription pain relievers. Tylenol (paracetamol; acetaminophen) is not an NSAID.
The study found that death, intensive care unit admission, mechanical ventilation use, and/or sepsis were more likely in patients taking NSAIDs, and less likely in patients not taking NSAIDs. Taking Tylenol was not associated with adverse outcomes in this study.
Take a look at my Covid-19 website here.
