The Pandemic and the End Times

The holy family fled to Egypt on February 29th, according to Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich. This year that date saw the first U.S. death from Covid-19. This pandemic is the threshold of the End Times, of the Apocalypse, and so it is not going away any time soon. It will be one heart ache after another for at least the next 2 years.

Here’s my conclusion about the Covid-19 pandemic. It will not go away this year, nor next. It will take a long time to find a good treatment, a good prophylaxis, and a working vaccine. And when you know the right medication, you have to make a vast number of doses, as this thing is spreading to the whole world. There are numerous points where there will be bottlenecks and so every solution will be slow to implement.

I think we will still be dealing with this pandemic and/or its terrible aftermath for all of 2021 and into 2022, when the Warning, Consolation, and Miracle occurs. We will need a vaccine, a treatment, and a way to reduce risk for those who are well. But the harm the pandemic causes is going to get worse and worse. There will be civil unrest, economic collapse, and worse. The real solution will be the Warning, Consolation, and Miracle — which will be followed by the truly horrific events of the real start of the tribulation. This pandemic and its entourage is just the threshold.

    Ron,
Unless the World repents and changes its wicked ways, abortion, fornication, divorce, avarice, pornography, prostitution, etc. why should God stop the pandemic? Everyone is praying that the pandemic ends but where is the outcry of all these gravely immoral sins that offend God. Where are the reparations, national repentance, turning over of abortion, gay marriage, and transgender laws, society prohibiting the cohabiting of unmarried couples, and governments stopping pornography on internet and in stores. Heck, even birth control should be outlawed as it is the source of all society family ills, in my opinion. We deserve these punishments. Woe to use when the tribulations actually begin. This pandemic is just a warm up and wait until apocalyptic diseases hit.

I think the Warning, Consolation, and Miracle are the (short term) solution to these problems of sin. But in the long term, the solution is the tribulation. That is why God allows the tribulation, not only as a punishment for sin, which it will be, but as a way to change the world for the better, to become a holy place.

    • David says:

God allowing the Tribulation to change the world (and the Church) for the better reminds me of this verse: “And although, certainly, he is the Son of God, he learned obedience by the things that he suffered,” and also “For gold and silver are tested in fire, yet truly, acceptable men are tested in the furnace of humiliation.”

St. Thomas says of the Hebrews verse: “…there is also the knowledge gained by experience, according to which He learned obedience; hence, he says, He learned obedience through what he suffered, i.e., experienced.” So maybe a part of the way in which the Tribulation makes us more perfect, and transforms the world into a holier place, is because we will be taught obedience and learn through suffering what it is (by direct experience although we recognize that it is to be done always), true devotion to God. Asking to be made like Christ, the Church will suffer like Him also, as a whole.

Lord look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

Ex-pope Benedict’s new book accuses way too many things as being the power of the Antichrist that will affect even the Petrine office (understand, pope Francis). So he puts together things like homosexual marriage, abortion, and humanism, excommunication of society? Does he fear there will be mass excommunications not from society but from Church for the ultraconservatives? I am waiting for the 1,000 page book, what else the ex-pope would call today’s Church.

And would he become the leader of the revolt at 94,, in the name of the abovementioned issues but in fact for something much simpler – to bring if possible people like Sarah to become next pope. That is nothing less than launching a crusade by the former inquisition prefect against the reform of pope Francis and the majority of bishops.

Of course, many other factors play a role, not just an excerpt of a lengthy biographical book that few would even read.

For example, the ongoing review of the Tridentine mass that may end up in a historic reversal of Benedict’s decision to overturn St Paul VI who stopped the Tridentine mass from public use.
Or the take away Communion that is already distributed in Germany… card. Sarah already cries wolf against it as a sacrilege worse than no communion. But let think for a moment: if Our Lord wants us to eat His flesh and digest it in our stomach…, what so terrible if we pick Him up by hand? Did the apostles have mini hosts at the Last Supper to be put in tongue by Jesus? Of course, not! They had normal bread turned to the Body of Our Lord. And they ate it normally as normal people. Not as insane fanatics.

After all, where to look for the antichrist or his precursor? Among the people who want to reform a corrupt world, or among the people who want the deadly status quo to remain, even worse, who want to rolling back centuries? This pandemic is not the only one to come. We will witness going back in many ways and soon, not only how do we shop in Walmart. Because those who cry wolf now, are actually the same people who are fully inside the system in the developed world, not in Cambodia. That’s why they dread its collapse, and hate those of the elite who want to make a difference (i.e. to save their own souls) by making the life on the common people bearable. By things like vaccines and income for everyone left without work by that same system that is neither christian nor just. The system must change and soon, if we want not only to have Christianity after us, but to have living people. I would not call that NWO. It wasn’t like that in the First centuries of Christian communities who Loved first of all.

I think we might be in the end times. This is not conspiracy but a matter of public record. Bill Gates wants all humans to get a vaccine it’s a digital certificate. People who don’t have antibodies cannot work in the future. Fact: he partnered with MIT to develop quantum tattoos. Gradually we are being told we need “passports” to do regular business or social activities.

Make of this what you will.
