Thank you for posting this excellent response of Dr. Dawn Eden Goldstein to Austin Ruse. I don’t understand why some Catholics believe they can freely criticize Pope Francis, but they can’t tolerate any criticism of Cardinal Burke. It’s a very serious matter for a Cardinal to entertain doubts about the validity of the election of the Roman Pontiif with whom he must cooperate assiduously (cf. 1983 CIC canon 356). I hope and pray Cardinal Burke will re-affirm his recognition of and support for Pope Francis.
