The Bible says thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
What is a witch?
And carry out this commandment in practice?
Witch is a bad translation.
{22:18} Maleficos non patieris vivere.
{22:18} You shall not permit practitioners of the black arts to live.
I translated it as “practitioners of the black arts”. That’s a little awkward as a phrasing, but accurate. It refers to person practicing Satanism or any religion that calls upon fallen angels for assistance, esp. in doing evil, i.e. the occult.
