Please pray for Pope Francis, but also especially for the Church. It looks like Francis may be at the end of his long service to the Church. Pray for him to have a happy death, as in a death in the state of grace, receiving the three Sacraments of Last Rites: confession, communion, extreme unction. But I am not worried about his eternal salvation. I am more concerned for the state of the Church today. Pray for the Church.
The next Pope has many problems in the Church and the world to confront. Catholics are greatly divided and need a Pope to definitively teach on disputed topics in faith and morals. We need a Pope who will correct the errors of every Catholic who has lost his or her way, including some Bishops and prominent priests. I suspect that the next Pope will be conservative, perhaps from Africa. But in any case, God will guide and bless him to keep the Church indefectible.
Ronald L Conte Jr

Ron, It is difficult to see the next pope being conservative given the college of cardinals have been more progressively ordered.
The Lord God is in authority over His Church.
We need a Pope who is not ambiguous, and is willing to speak strongly on Catholic doctrine, and not cozy to heretics like Biden and condemn the faithful. We need a Pope who doesn’t send mixed messages, and get Catholics opposing each other, or leaving the faith because of it. Please pray for the Pope, but also for the Church, whose weakened state is a result of the Pope’s decisions.
Hi Ron,
Your appeal for the pope reminds me of Jacinta, the youngest Fátima seer who made it a point to offer sacrifices for the pope. Yes, we need to offer more than prayer for the pope’s health recovery. God’s Supreme Will be done. United in prayer and penance, we Cristian Catholics should stand….
Thanks Ron for this appeal!
Thank you Ron
I always pray for the intentions and strength of our Holy Father who has fought so boldly to hold our fractured church together. I am sure he will have a peaceful passing if his time is near.
We can only entrust the Church’s future to our loving saviour and regardless of how dry our prayer life may sometimes seem we know our mission here is to pray for the salvation of all souls and the Holy souls in purgatory. In this we have real power.
Sincere blessings to you and yours and thank you for your strength and guidance
