Current events show that the world is rushing toward a third World War. I’ve been predicting this in my books of eschatology for many years: World War 3 will be between the Arab/Muslim nations of the Middle East and northern Africa versus the United States and Europe.

A rise in antisemitism preceded World War 2, and now seems to be preceding World War 3. The unexpected and alarming rise in protests, calling for Israel to cease to exist as a nation and justifying terrorist attacks on the Israeli people (e.g. that occupation justifies “resistance”) is implicitly a call for a major war. Israel will defend itself, and its allies will provide much assistance. Neither side has a position that can be reconciled with the other. The Muslim nations, including Turkey, which is a NATO member, will not stop demanding the return of Palestine to the Palestinian people. Israel will not willingly move its population and end its statehood. The United states and other allies of Israel will support the self-defense and continued existence of Israel. There is no negotiation which can suffice for either side. So a major war is inevitable.
Now we can say, from a religious point of view, that people can repent and change, and then be reconciled. But without a substantial change in the hearts and minds of a vast number of persons on both sides, there will be war.
And I don’t mean only a war in the Middle East. In my eschatology, which is speculative and fallible, this World War 3 will see Iran obtain and use nuclear weapons. The war will spread into Europe, with an invasion of Arab/Muslim troops. And there will be great suffering. Neither should we underestimate the ability of these nations to go to war.
The Muslim nations have a large population of military age men, and they are highly motivated by anger and hatred toward the West. Then the Western nations have made an enemy of Russia, by sanctions and support for Ukraine. This makes it likely that Russia will provide the Muslim nations with all the kinds of things the Western nations gave to Ukraine: money, training, intel, weapons, munitions, etc. In addition, the continued restrictions of the U.S. and allies against China, particularly keeping China from obtaining advanced chips and chip-making machinery, means that China may also support the Muslim nations in this war. There will not be direct conflict between troops of Russia or China and Western troops. But the Muslim nations will likely have a great deal of support from Russia and China, making their side of the war much more dangerous.
The U.S., U.K., and E.U. nations have used up a vast amount of weapons and munitions supporting the Ukraine war, and that materiel has not been replaced in NATO stores. Then many of the components needed for weapons rely on parts or raw materials from China and other Asian nations. This is a weakness in the military supply chain of NATO.
Finally, Iran is very close to obtaining several working nuclear bombs. They may already be in the midst of a covert nuclear breakout, as a recent article I wrote explains: Is Iran using the 2023 Israel Hamas War as cover for a Nuclear Breakout? Once Iran announces they have nuclear weapons, the extremist Muslims will rally to try to take control of the more moderate Muslim nations. Many will want to ally with Iran, so as to share in this type of military power.
Because of all these factors, we cannot assume that the Western nations will win this war. But I also do not see how war can be avoided. Devout Christians will support Israel and the Jewish people, as we understand that their religion was established by various acts of God as recounted in the Old Testament. The Jews are still the chosen people, favored by God. And, based on my interpretation of Scripture (e.g. the 70 weeks of Daniel), I believe that the State of Israel will continue even until the Return of Jesus.
But this World War 3 is very dangerous. Millions could die, and the Arab/Muslim nations could succeed in conquering Europe (leading to a later World War 4 to free Europe).

We should consider ourselves “lucky” if that is the case. I can’t see it to be possible. Finland barricades completely its border with Russia, the Baltics and Poland too although not fully. Russia takes the upper hand in Ukraine. Rumors of a coup being prepared by the army chief Zaluzhnyi on videos where he allegedly speaks. One can wonder forever could AI make a figure looking like Zaluzhnyi with voice and everything.
If Ukraine front collapses, then NATO will have to face the Russians on its own borders. Or most likely NATO will allow Poland to enter Western Ukraine and divide it. Will that be the new status quo to continue until WW4? Will that satisfy Russia and the West?
If USA engages Iran as a result of any chess gambit between Iran, Arabs and Israel, could we assume Russia and China will just wait for the result providing only material help and possibly a nuclear umbrella on Iran so the war to be only conventional?
Most likely China will use the momentum to take Taiwan. Then USA will have to fight on how many fronts. USA can’t allow China to have Taiwan and at the same time can’t win a conventional war with mainland China that is so close to Taiwan while USA has to ship everything overseas. N. Korea is another issue that just waits the order from the big brother. I don’t see how the Eastern military block will let Iran fall like Lybia and Iraq, and will wait another decade for its grand designs. The other option is a direct confrontation with USA. Only God knows what has been decided.
When I read prophecy it rather says that Russia will take a big portion of Europe (Elena Aiello besides others). We never know. How many failed consecrations, why don’t they work? Wasn’t it said by Lucia herself taped on a video from that time that the 1984 consecration was valid and actually worked for a gradual conversion of Russia and the fall of communism? And here we are now many decades later, on the starting point, or much worse. Never ever a communist leader was wanted by international court. We remember Brezhnev and the older ones remember Kruschev visiting the UN and US on many occasions. That all is gone. Putin can’t visit a single EU country and many others. Today the level of trust is much lower than during the Cold War. Major treaties that were the pillars of the nuclear restraint policy, are gone.
At the same time the MSM are preoccupied with the personal drama and job loss of one of the richest people on the planet Sam Altman being fired by OpenAI board. It is about the biggest computers and AI control. Something is wrong. very very wrong. The two richest people on the planet Musk and Bezos build in their free time and from their extra money rockets to the Moon and Mars. Will someone explain to us in understandable language what is going on?

Maybe….especially if we have the blocking of the sun with nuclear particles, the so called nuclear winter. Only time will tell were Carl Sagan and other scientists today who reassessed the theory of nuclear winter right or not. Those who will die for lack of clean water, radiation from heavy hot particles, or the nuclear winter stretching for several years (as the Ragnarok prophecy of the Vikings say) would make the difference.
A good video with wrong conclusions about the EMP. Wrong because no one who remains uncovered on the surface will survive to reach the point of social degradation discussed in the video. Anyway good to see to educate ourselves what will happen from EMP and only 9 key transformers being shut down – a collapse of the grid for at least 2 years according to the specialist Hollermans deputy executive director of EMP task force on National and Homeland security.

As of the Middle East, never before there was such a mass destruction in any Arab country – Gaza territory or call it whatever. The scenes remember WW2 destruction or apocalyptic movie. And of course the Israeli are doing all in self defense and trying to protect the civilians. Leading Western politicians already said that scale is not self defense. Don’t they realize where it leads to? Or maybe they do and want to happen so they can resolve their issues with Iran. And yet it may not stop there. Or maybe Russia is converted and will not attack using the moment. For me it is all connected. God only knows where it will stop. Why the West is so calm, why the stock exchange and the oil don’t react to the Middle eastern crisis? Do they know of something ELSE coming that we don’t?
Please let me correct my comment. By writing “If the Jews of today are ‘still the chosen people, favored by God,’” I unwittingly cast doubt on the Jews’ status as chosen people, since I used the conjunction “if.” My mistake. Taking into account the events of 2,000 years ago, namely the Nativity through the Ascension, which include the establishing of the New Covenant, the New Testament, the One True Church, and the sacraments, I think what Our Lord said is pretty clear: In Him, there is neither Jew nor Greek. If the Jews of today are “still the chosen people, favored by God,” they cannot be any more chosen or favored by God than Christians – specifically, Catholics. And to put a fine point on the issue, Ron, Our Lord did not tell the Jews that the New Covenant was optional.
Also, their original religion featured a temple, a priesthood, and blood sacrifice for sins. All of that was abolished after the Fall of Jerusalem, if I understand Jewish history correctly. Then the rabbis and the Pharisees took over, and they wrote the Talmud some centuries later. Don’t those recent developments attenuate the modern-day Jews’ relationship with their Israelite ancestors?
I do not deny that the Talmudic religion of the present day is a valid continuation of the religion of the Israelites – according to the present-day Jews’ collective conscience and understanding. It certainly is. After all, they adhere to the Mosaic Law, which was established by God. But the Talmud was definitely not “established by various acts of God as recounted in the Old Testament,” Ron. Maybe this is cause for some clarity on your part? Thanks, and God bless.
I gave some reply to this in response to a different comment of yours. Judaism is not based on the Talmud, but on Abraham, the other Patriarchs, the law and prophets, the love of God and neighbor. The Talmud might be considered, from our point of view, as works of theology gathered together, just as we might refer to past works of theology in Christian history. These can err in Christianity, as in Judaism. Such errors do not make the religion false. We also see in the OT that the Jews sometimes went astray, and were corrected by the prophets. These things did not make the religion into a different religion, nor make it false.
There is no doubt the attack of Hamas on Israel and the subsequent protests against the west civilization from within was a trial balloon for certain Muslim nations. The western civilization has lost its moral obligation in protecting its own citizens. The continuous indoctrination of our youth hating their own countries and its open boarder policy can only lead to the demise of the western world. I have said this many times, Italy, U.K., France and USA will be attacked from within with terrorist attacks. The attacks could be nuclear in nature and after that comes the announcement of Iran declaring they are a nuclear power. Hence, there will be blackmail from Iran, famine and civil unrest in the western world. It appears this is the beginning of the seven seals.
