Hi Ron,
Hope you are keeping well 🙏 and thank you for your continued work. I would be really interested to hear your opinion on this link…

I did not watch the video; it’s an hour and 46 minutes long. The claim that the fourth horseman of the apocalypse is the Antichrist is patently absurd. It is not supportable by anything in the Bible, nor in any commentaries on the Antichrist by Saints. The four horsemen are four related sets of events. No horseman is an actual person. Also, the four events called the four horsemen are of the first part of the tribulation (the lesser tribulation), while the Antichrist does not arrive until hundreds of years later, during the second or greater tribulation.
“Dear Parents: Have great patience. Forgive from the depths of your heart” – Pope Francis
We live in a corrupt degenerate secular society. Our children are bombarded with “pride flags” at school, stores, sporting events, etc.; pop music with lyrics containing foul language, explicit sex, and names of illegal drugs; gender confusion and use of pronouns; PG-13 movies loosely using name of God in vain; smart phones with countless social media apps corrupting the youth; abortion without consent of parents; revealing attire; etc…
Being practicing Catholic parents and constantly maneuvering our kids through this minefield of grave mortal sins in society requires much patience and forgiveness. If too strict, they rebel. If too easy, we lose them to the world. Prayer and fasting is required. God help all parents. God help us all!
Forgive me if you have answered this (even to me), I don’t remember.
But it would be good for new readers…
What should be done with frozen embryos? I asked a priest this and this is how the conversation went:
“What should be done with frozen embryos?”
“They should never have been created in the first place.”
“But now that they have been, what should we do?”
“They should never have been created in the first place.”
“Should they be implanted in volunteers?”
“They should never have been created in the first place.”
“Should they be destroyed? isn’t that murder?”
“They should never have been created in the first place.”
“Should we just keep them frozen forever (meaning eventual death in practice)?”
“They should never have been created in the first place.”
What is your answer. And why was the priest a broken record?
I argue in my book on ethics, and in this article:
that it is moral for spouses to adopt an embryo and use embryo implantation to give that extremely young person a chance at a full life. So surrogate motherhood would not be intrinsically evil, but would depend on intention and circumstances.
The priest simply did not know what to answer.
Ron,
I believe Bishop Strickland of Texas should resign or he should be forced out.
Anyone calling Pope Francis a “diabolically disoriented clown,” and claims the Pope is undermining the Deposit of Faith is not worthy of holding his position within the church.
Any thoughts?
Strickland received an apostolic visitation, a type of investigation by the Vatican. It looks like the Pope will remove Strickland from his post. At one point, Strickland is reported to have dared Pope Francis to fire him. I guess that might happen.
Strickland is possibly guilty of public schismatic assertions, though it is for the Pope to judge whether he himself is guilty of formal schism.
FOX News reporting:
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) programs capable of generating realistic images has led to an explosion in child pornography and blackmail attempts by criminals determined to exploit kids and teenagers.
In 2022, major social media sites reported a 9% increase in suspected child sexual abuse materials on their platforms. Of those reports, 85% came from Meta digital platforms like Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
AI-generated images of children engaged in sex acts could potentially disrupt the central tracking system that blocks CSAM from the web. In its current form, the system is only designed to detect known images of abuse rather than generated ones. This new variable could lead law enforcement to spend more time determining whether an image is real or generated by AI.
—————————–
I fear very much that this is just the beginning of an increase in corruption of society.
There are many serious problems in society today, almost all of which result from grave sin, directly, as in child abuse, or indirectly, as in poverty and hunger (which result from greed, selfishness, etc.).
“PULPIT AI” COMING SOON
Church leaders and volunteers will soon have access to an artificial intelligence platform that aims to shave hours off their day-to-day tasks by generating content from sermons to engage fellow Christians when they are not in the pews.
Upcoming platform Pulpit AI, founded by Michael Whittle, is expected to launch later this summer and will serve as a tool for Christian leaders looking to take the tedious work out of crafting religious blog posts, devotionals and prayer guides and social media posts.
“We want to help pastors of small to medium-sized churches be able to make content for their congregations to interact with throughout the week and on social media,” Whittle told Fox News Digital. “We think every pastor should, if they want, have a digital signal to their congregations beyond the sermon.
“Most small to medium-sized churches have small or completely volunteer staff, so they have zero operational leverage when it comes to media and resources for their church,” he added. “If we can help a church media team get past the blank page, we can not only save them crazy amounts of time, we can help every church become a resourcing church for their people.”
Pulpit AI “doesn’t and never will” generate sermons, instead it serves as a tool where the user uploads a sermon or religious podcast in order to repurpose it into “social media highlights, blog posts, discussion questions, and the other content churches use to reach their congregations and communities day in and day out,” Whittle said.
“Pulpit AI analyzes long form audio and video, then repurposes that into various forms of content,” Whittle said. “Pulpit AI’s output is taken directly from the source material. If the source material is theologically solid, the content Pulpit AI creates will reflect that back.”
As with any honorable intentions, misuse is just around the corner and there will be persons and groups to espouse their disfavor/hatred towards the Church, Pope, Bishops, priests, clergy and congregation.
We have all seen the existing social media platforms block users for mutipile reasons. In my experiences, the algorithms used have blocked truths and allow untruths.
My questions are as follows:
– Are we moving too fast to incorporate AI into our daily lives?
– What users will be allowed for the AI content?
– Who is going to approve the material as theologically sound?
– What regulations will be placed on the AI platform?
– Who will regulate the regulators?
– Will this platform be able to expedite untruths and reach many more persons than before?
IE: podcasts, blog posts, etc….
– Will Regis Martin be able to gain a larger audience in judging and condeming Pope Francis?
As we enter this new realm, I believe the list of questions will greatly increase.
I think AI is being over-hyped right now. There are serious issues and problems that could result from AI. But some of the concerns are exaggerated.
How will God resurrect Gene Shoemaker, whose remains have been deposited on the Moon?

Miraculously. I don’t think a person’s body, resurrected, needs to be the same molecules that were part of that body during its life. A body is not a set of molecules, as the molecules in the body are continually replaced via food. The resurrected body is a glorified version of our body in this life, but not necessarily the same molecules (unless you died recently, I suppose).
