Bible Readings: Revelation 15 and 16

Today, read Revelation chapters 15 and 16.

[Revelation 15]
{15:1} And I saw another sign in heaven, great and wondrous: seven Angels, holding the seven last afflictions. For with them, the wrath of God is completed.

The last seven afflictions are the seven bowls of God’s wrath, which together constitute the seventh trumpet of the seventh seal. These afflictions are poured out upon the earth at the end of the reign of the Antichrist, when ten new wicked kings rise up and attempt to restore the kingdom of the ten kings.

[Revelation 16]
{16:1} And I heard a great voice from the temple, saying to the seven Angels: “Go forth and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth.”
{16:2} And the first Angel went forth and poured out his bowl upon the earth. And a severe and most grievous wound occurred upon the men who had the character of the beast, and upon those who adored the beast or its image.

These afflictions affect only the unrepentant wicked followers of the Antichrist. This event is in the distant future (25th century A.D.). Every claimed private revelation, which says that the Antichrist and/or the Return of Jesus the true Christ will happen for this generation, is a false private revelation. The reign of the Antichrist is in the distant future, hundreds of years from now. Then Jesus returns after the downfall of the Antichrist.
