Ask Me About the Warning

The Pope has announced that he will go to Fatima on May 12th. So, in my eschatology, if 2017 is the year, then the Miracle occurs on the evening of May 11th, and there will be a permanent miraculous sign placed at Fatima and other sites of Marian apparitions.

This post is for readers to ask me questions on the topic of the Warning, Consolation, and Miracle — a set of three supernatural events that may occur as early as this year (2017). The Warning occurs on Good Friday, possibly (even probably) in 2017 (April 14th). I’ve written books and many posts on the topic. What would you like to ask on this topic? Please keep question on topic.

    Ron,
It would seem that the Warning may cause more harm than good in some instances. After experiencing the Warning, people may confess their sins on their conscience to their spouses, co-workers, and other personal relationships. The person hearing the confession may become hurt and unforgiving from hearing the sins. For example a husband may confess to their wife that they continuously lusted for other women and the wife may become deeply hurt and not forgiving and leave the husband. It seems as though the Warning may create a lot of chaos in families and friendships if people start to confess all kinds of sins to each other. I suppose a person should keep the sins to themselves and privately ask for God’s forgiveness so as not to cause scandal in the family and friendships.

Ron. Re the Fatima and Miracle date of May 11th above.
You previously were working to a date of May 12/13. May 13 being the 100th anniv of first Fatima apparition, also the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. You also previously speculated that it may be on the Vigil of the 13th, i.e. 12th. Blessed Imelda Lambertini died on the 12th. The church generally observes her feast on 13th. Some calendars observe it on the 12th. Do you still think 12/13th if this May or do you prefer 11th.

At the moment of the Warning, would anyone regardless of the “state of their soul” still be able to utter within themselves to ask for God’s mercy? Full awareness of past sins & knowledge of current faults & weakness but still capable of facing up to one’s mistakes. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa…amen.

    • Ron Conte's avatar Ron Conte says:

The Warning does not give each person full knowledge of all past sins. It only shows each person the sins on their conscience. It does not show faults and weaknesses, per se, but only sins (which might be the result of faults and weaknesses, of course). Everyone is also offered the grace to repent. Some accept it, and others do not.

Could you say why you think Garabandal is authentic? There have been many inconsistencies candidate controversies? Thank you.

    • Ron Conte's avatar Ron Conte says:

There’s no short answer to that question. I’ve studied many claimed private revelations, and have written much on the subject. I evaluate each claimed revelation based on my studies and my understanding of the faith.

Is there significance in Pope Francis being in Fatima May 12-13

    • Ron Conte's avatar Ron Conte says:

If the Warning is this year, then the Miracle will be May 11th, and will leave a permanent miraculous sign, which the Pope will then see, when he visits.

  6. Michael's avatar Michael says:

How will the warning affect children of say 5 years & over?

    • Ron Conte's avatar Ron Conte says:

I’m not sure. I think it will sharpen their consciences, and offer them the grace to care about the difference between right and wrong.

  7. Matt's avatar Matt says:

How will a person driving 75 mph on the highway experience the Warning and then afterwards continue to safely drive?

Won’t each person see Jesus on the Cross during the Warning? “They will look upon Him, whom they have pierced” Zechariah 12:10

    • Ron Conte's avatar Ron Conte says:

No, each person will not see Jesus on the cross. Devout Christians will realize with renewed clarity that Jesus died for our sins. They will have a renewed understanding of God’s mercy through Christ on the Cross toward sinners. But the event is an illumination of conscience; it does not infuse knowledge.

God will miraculously take care of every situation, such as cars driving and planes in flight. I don’t know the specifics.

  8. Guest's avatar Guest says:

Will non-Christians know that Jesus is the one who warned them?

    What is the “consolation”?

How are these related to Fatima, Akita and October 13?

    • Ron Conte's avatar Ron Conte says:

Since it only illuminates the conscience, people will not automatically know that Jesus is the One warning them. They will not know that Christianity is the truest form of religion. But if anyone rejected Christianity in bad conscience, they will know that was a sin. The Consolation comforts and strengthens all who repented at the Warning. These events are not directly related to Fatima and Akita. The Warning was predicted at Garabandal. And I believe that the Warning, Consolation, and Miracle are the first three secrets of Medjugorje.

  9. Max's avatar Max says:

Will the Warning give you more spiritual insight

    • Ron Conte's avatar Ron Conte says:

The Warning only illuminates the conscience. So the only spiritual insight is knowing the sins on your conscience. Some people will respond by repenting, others will not repent.

  10. Max's avatar Max says:

What physical effects will it have on you

    • Ron Conte's avatar Ron Conte says:

Some persons will be so frightened by the sudden knowledge of the sins on their conscience that they will die. This applies mainly to persons in a weakened physical state, such as the ill or elderly. No other physical effects, that I know of.
