False. His prophecies, supposedly from heaven, have been wrong time after time. This is substantially different from speculative eschatology, where one proposes an opinion and it is wrong. Fr. Rodrigue has claims that these messages are from heaven, and if that were true, then the messages could not err. Errors in claims private revelations indicate that the messages and prophecies are false.
Furthermore, Fr. Rodrigue was caught lying about his relationship with his Bishop, as the Bishop has publicly stated in this Open Letter. In particular, Fr. Michel Rodrigue made this false claim: “Fr. Michel Rodrigue receives the full support of his bishop, and all of his locutions and visions are submitted to his local ordinary for approval”. The Bishop himself states that this is FALSE. Father Michel Rodrigue has not submitted his locutions and visions to the Bishop, the Bishop has never approved of the same, and the Bishop does not support or approve of his locutions, visions, and claims about the future, as stated in the Open Letter. The Bishop stated, in a communication to Fr. Rodrigue: “I am extremely shocked and I feel betrayed by these remarks, since I never approved of them.”
Thus, Fr. Rodrigue was caught lying about his locutions and visions, and about his Bishop. Also, Fr. Rodrigue is not an approved exorcist in the Catholic Church. Fr. Rodrigue also renounced his charge over three parishes, abandoning his flock, in order to pursue his notoriety as a visionary. This is not a sign of true prophecy. “He also renounced his membership in the Presbyteral Council and the College of consultors. He also retired as an active priest in the diocese.” He completely abandoned his role as a priest in the diocese.
What else does the Bishop say about Fr. Rodrigue? He tells us: “Take heed that you not be deceived”. Indeed.
